WHAT IS SHOW TYME COMPANY?
The Show Tyme Academy Company is made up of a very special group of Show Tyme students. Selected based on their effort, dedication, talent, leadership, and love of performing, Company members represent Show Tyme Academy both in Missoula and abroad. Each year, Company travels to and competes in several dance competitions around the United States. You can spot a Show Tyme Academy Company member by their winning and respectful attitude...and their sporty Show Tyme track jacket!
Show Tyme Academy offers two different Company options:
Performance
Company
(Tuition $75/Month)
Performance Company members represent Show Tyme Academy around town, performing at events such at our Southgate Mall Christmas Extravaganza, Griz Basketball games, fairs, and local fundraisers. Performance Company also participates in at least one regional, weekend-long competition each year. It's a great opportunity for those students who love to perform!
Requirements: Show Tyme Academy Student for AT LEAST One Year; Enrollment in 3 Classes (2 of which MUST be in a dance technique); Monday Company Class 6:30-7:30pm, and periodic Saturday availability for performances/rehearsals.
Age Requirement: K- 12th Grade
Elite
Company
( Tuition $100/Month)
Elite Company is a group of students focused more on participating in the competition and dance convention circuit. Usually the most dedicated students in the studio, Elite Company members attend 3 large conventions in addition to participating in ALL Performance Company events each season. The conventions can happen all over the United States. Company Elite has traveled to: Los Angeles, Billings, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Arizona, and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in years past. Company Elite members are also members of Performance Company, and typically host/run 1-2 large fundraisers to help offset cost of travel.
Requirements: Studio Director Invitation; Show Tyme Academy student for AT LEAST One Year; Enrollment in Ballet (minimum 2x/week), Jazz, and Contemporary; Monday Company Class 6:30-8:30pm; Saturday availability 9am-2pm most weekends; financial commitment to travel.
Age Requirement: 3rd- 12th Grades
** Joining either section of Show Tyme Academy's Company is both a prestigious honor and a year-long commitment. Many considerations are taken into account. If you'd like to be considered for selection into next year's Company, please speak to Miss Christine directly.

2018-2019 Updates:
Congratulations to our 24Seven Dance Convention competitors! Our Performance Company dancers brought home a total of 2 HIGH SILVER Awards, 17 GOLD Awards, and 10 HIGH GOLD Awards as well as the 1st Overall Highest Score Junior Duo, 3rd Overall Highest Score Teen Duo, 1st Overall High Score Junior Musical Theatre Group, 2nd Overall Highest Score Junior Category, 3rd Overall Highest Score Teen Extended Line, and “Someone in the Crowd” was selected as an “11 O’clock Number” to represent Billings at Nationals! Special shoutout to Grace Nolan for placing 7th Overall Highest Score Teen Soloist and Hayden Kiely for placing 8th Overall Highest Score Senior Soloist!
In addition, Elaina Baldwin, Olivia Farnes, and Gracie Gillpatrick earned Non-Stop Dancer Runner-Up Scholarships which include full scholarships to Nationals, and Grace Nolan and Quinn Wyland came out on top winning the title of Non-Stop Dancer of their entire age devision, each receiving a full 2019/2020 tour scholarship in addition to a Nationals scholarship!
Sawyer Reed came home with a Weekend Warrior Scholarship, being selected out of 600+ students as the Ballet Teacher’s standout student and Lucia Garr, Skye Kozlowitz, Sawyer Reed, Kaitlyn Whatman, and Haley Whatman came home with High Five summer intensive scholarships!
