Award-winning choreographer Christine Kowalchik is the owner and Artistic Director of Show Tyme Academy. A 2012 graduate of Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, she holds BA degrees in both Acting and Dance Choreography. Christine was born in New York state, but raised primarily in Maine, where she classically trained in the Balanchine Technique at the Maine State School for the Performing Arts and Maine State Ballet. During her college career she was part of an improvisational dance company, "6Meters" as wells as choreographed for and performed in multiple main stage productions. Locally Christine has choreographed Missoula Community Theatre's productions of Willy Wonka, Sherk! The Musical, A Christmas Story, Mamma Mia and Performing Arts Camp as well as Frenchtown High School's production of Thoroughly Modern Millie.  Christine has enjoyed studying and choreographing on three continents, including her personal favorite: Africa.
